Our site, a former airfield, forms part of a much larger development site measuring some 69.8 hectares between the M5 and Gloucester business park.
The development includes residential areas, open space, a new mixed area use high street, community building and health facilities.
Each residential area has been subdivided into separate parcels for which reserved matters application are required. Area 7b is one such application.
An urban design code was prepared on behalf of the Local Authority which laid out strict design criteria in respect of built form, elevational styling etc… to ensure continuity across the whole development site.
A high standard of design and extremely comprehensive submission package was required of some of which is shown here.
